Strawberry-Peach Beet Blast


I already know what you're thinking...beets!  Beets may be hard to pair when searching for a smoothie you will actually enjoy. Try them with peaches and strawberries for a delicious, healthy blend.

Ingredients

1 Beet, raw
1/2 Cup Strawberry, halves
1 Peach
1/4 Cup 100% Pomegranate Juice (or 100% Pineapple Juice)

1/2 Cup Pure Coconut Water 
1 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar

Preparation

Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth. Makes two servings of 8 oz each.

Strawberry Papaya and Blackberry Peach Frozen Yogurts


Strawberry-Papaya Frozen Yogurt


Can’t find the right flavor you want in a yogurt? Just grab two of your favorite fruits, freeze and blend with some plain non-fat yogurt. Or try these two great combinations. Add raw agave nectar to sweeten.

1 Cup Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt 
1/4 Cup Strawberries, halves frozen 
1/4 Cup Papaya Chunks, frozen
2 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar


Blackberry Peach Frozen Yogurt

1 Cup Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt 
1/4 Cup Blackberries, frozen
1/2 Peach, sliced frozen
1 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar

Preparation

Blend ingredients in a blender (recommend Nutribullet) until smooth. Place in an air-tight container and freeze for an hour. Stir and serve immediately. Each batch makes two cups.  Enjoy!

Frozen Grape Berry Blast


This recipe was submitted by Tom Kutz...


"Chill" out with this smoothie recipe!  With frozen grapes, strawberries, and bananas...this treat will ensure you have a cool day.  Watch out for the dreaded brain freeze!

Ingredients

1 handful of baby spinach

The meat from 1 lime (do not use rind)
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup blueberries
10-12 black frozen grapes
1 handful of frozen strawberries
2 tbsp flax seed
1 tbsp local honey (or more)
Use water or almond milk to the fill line.

Mix all ingredients in the blender and blend.

What a weird combination, you say? Just give it a try. You’ll find this smoothie surprisingly tasty. Steam broccoli for a few minutes if you prefer a less raw taste.

Ingredients

1 Cup Broccoli, raw or steamed 
1/4 Cup Blackberries
1/4 Cup Blueberries
1/4 Cup Raspberries
1/4 Cup Strawberries, sliced
1/4 Cup 100% Pomegranate Juice 
1/4 Cup Pure Coconut Water
1 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar

Preparation

Steam broccoli for 10 minutes, if desired. Blend broccoli with all other ingredients in a blender (recommend Nutribulletuntil smooth. Makes one serving of 12 oz.

Fruit N’ Cream Oatmeal Smoothie





If you love eating fruit with your oatmeal, then you’ll love these fruit and cream oatmeal smoothies even more. Great for breakfast, try these three great flavors or choose your own. Use as a meal replacement when on the go.

Ingredients

Strawberries N’ Cream

1/2 Cup Fresh Strawberry Halves
1 Tbsp. Organic Milled Flaxseeds
1/2 Cup Organic Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, cooked 
2 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Plain Non-fat Greek Yogurt

Blueberries N’ Cream
1/2 Cup Fresh Blueberries
1 Tbsp. Organic Milled Flaxseeds
1/2 Cup Organic Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, cooked 
2 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Plain Non-fat Greek Yogurt

Bananas N’ Cream
1 Medium Banana
1 Tbsp. Organic Milled Flaxseeds
1/2 Cup Organic Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, cooked 
2 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Plain Non-fat Greek Yogurt

Preparation

Cook rolled oats according to package directions. Stir in cinnamon, vanilla extract and agave nectar while oatmeal is hot. Transfer oatmeal mix to blender with choice of fruit, yogurt, flaxseeds and almond milk. Blend in a blender (recommend Nutribulletuntil smooth. Makes one serving each.

Can’t decide what to make? Or have a craving for everything? Then grab all the fruit and vegetables in your refrigerate to make this nutritious and delicious concoction. Consuming less than 200 calories, you’ll be full and satisfied.

Ingredients

1/2 Banana
1/2 Apple, seeds removed
1/2 Peach, core removed
1/2 Nectarine, seeds removed
1/2 Pear, seeds removed
1/2 Cup Frozen Triple Berry Mix - Blueberries, Raspberries and Strawberries 
1/2 Cup Frozen Tropical Mix - Mangos, Pineapples & Papayas
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Handful Baby Spinach Leaves
1 Tbsp. Organic Coconut Oil
1 Tbsp. Milled Flaxseeds

Preparation

Chocolate-Covered Fruit & Nut Smoothie



Love chocolate? Love strawberries? How about chocolate-covered strawberries, just in liquid form. Try this chocolate-covered fruit and nut smoothie. Just pick your favorite fruit to pair with chocolate and follow the rest of the ingredient list. Or be spontaneous and add all four fruits as in the picture.

Ingredients

Choice of Fruit** 
1 Banana
8 Medium Frozen Strawberries 
15 Frozen Cherries, pitted
1 Large Navel Orange

1/2 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk 
1/2 Cup 100% Pineapple Juice
Handful (about 12) Almonds
2 Tbsp. 100% Raw Cacao Powder
1 Tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
1 Tbsp. Chunky Almond Butter
Add Agave Nectar to Taste (1 tbsp = approx. 60 additional calories)


Preparation

Blend all ingredients in a blender (recommend Nutribulletuntil smooth. Makes one serving with one fruit.

** If adding all four fruits use 1/2 banana, 3 strawberries, 5 cherries, 1/2 orange. Makes two servings.
