Tomato-Orange Smoothie


For a great source of potassium, fiber and vitamins A and C, blend tomatoes and oranges. Chill for a couple of hours for a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

1 Cup Grape Tomatoes
1 Large Navel Orange
1/2 Cup Pure Coconut Water
1 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar (or 1/2 Banana for a more natural sweetness)

Preparation

Peel orange and blend with all other ingredients until smooth. Add ice or chill for a couple of hours for a cool, refreshing treat. Makes one serving of 12 oz.

Banana Nut Crunch Granola Bar


Banana Nut Crunch Granola Bar



The aroma from these homemade granola bars will have your home smelling wonderful.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup 100% Granolas
1 Banana
1/4 Cup Unsalted Dry Roasted Peanuts
2 Tbsp. Creamy Raw Almond Butter
1/4 Cup Raw Agave Nectar
1 Tsp. Pure Almond Extract
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Banana Chips, crushed 
1/4 Cup Raw Unsalted Almonds, sliced

Preparation

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Throughly blend granolas, peanuts, almond butter, agave nectar and almond extract. Lightly coat an 8” x 8” baking pan with olive oil. Transfer mixture into a bowl and stir in whole almonds and banana chips. Transfer mixture into baking pan. Lightly coat hands with olive oil and evenly spread across pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool to harden and then cut into desired sizes. Makes eight servings.

Pineapple-Mango Carrot Soup




Pineapples, mangos, carrots blend well to make a cool and refreshing soup great for those warm summer months...yet equally tasty during the winter.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Mango Chunks
1/2 Cup Pineapple Chunks
1/2 Cup Carrots, sliced
1 Cup Reduced Sodium Vegetable Broth 
1/2 Cup 100% Pineapple Juice
1/2 Cup Lemon Juice, fresh squeezed

Preparation

Place pineapples, mangos and carrots in a medium sized pot along with vegetable broth, pineapple and lemon juice. Bring to boil. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to blender and blend until smooth. Serve chilled. Garnish with plain non-fat greek yogurt, if desired. Makes two servings.

Strawberry-Papaya Frozen Yogurt


Can’t find the right flavor you want in a yogurt? Just grab two of your favorite fruits, freeze and blend with some plain non-fat yogurt. Or try these two great combinations. Add raw agave nectar to sweeten.

1 Cup Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt 
1/4 Cup Strawberries, halves frozen 
1/4 Cup Papaya Chunks, frozen
2 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar


Blackberry Peach Frozen Yogurt

1 Cup Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt 
1/4 Cup Blackberries, frozen
1/2 Peach, sliced frozen
1 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar

Preparation

Blend ingredients in a blender (recommend Nutribullet) until smooth. Place in an air-tight container and freeze for an hour. Stir and serve immediately. Each batch makes two cups.  Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 Cup Broccoli, raw or steamed 
1/4 Cup Blackberries
1/4 Cup Blueberries
1/4 Cup Raspberries
1/4 Cup Strawberries, sliced
1/4 Cup 100% Pomegranate Juice 
1/4 Cup Pure Coconut Water
1 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar

Preparation

Steam broccoli for 10 minutes, if desired. Blend broccoli with all other ingredients in a blender (recommend Nutribulletuntil smooth. Makes one serving of 12 oz.

1 Tbsp. Paprika

2 Tsp. Tabasco

Preparation

8 Small Habanero peppers, seeded 
1 Tbsp. Cayenne Pepper

3 Tbsp. Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 
1/2 Cup Water
1 Cup Distilled White Vinegar 

2 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Sauté peppers, garlic and onions in olive oil. Add vinegar and seasonings. Transfer to the blender when cool. Add water, nectar and vanilla extract. Blend in a blender (recommend Nutribulletuntil smooth.

Strawberry-Cherry Balsamic Vinaigrette



For a great tasting and fruity vinaigrette, try strawberries and cherries.

Ingredients

1 Cup Fresh Strawberries, halved 
1 Cup Fresh Cherries, pitted
1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
2 oz. Lemon Juice, fresh squeezed 
1 Tbsp. Basil Leaves
1 Tbsp. Oregano Leaves
1 Tbsp. Paprika
1/4 Cup White Onions, minced 
1/4 Cup Garlic, minced
1/4 Cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

Preparation

Slowly cook strawberries and cherries in balsamic vinegar and lemon juice until soft. Add onions and garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to the blender.  Add seasonings and throughly blend mixture in a blender (recommend Nutribullet)

Raspberry-Peach Fruit Sauce



This raspberry-peach flavored fruit sauce is great for not only waffles or pancakes, but it also can be added to plain yogurt.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Raspberries
1 Large Peach
2 Tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar
Pinch Coarse Kosher Salt
1/2 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Lemon Juice, fresh squeezed

Preparation

Slowly cook fruit in lemon juice and water until fruit is soft enough to easily smash. Add almond extract and agave nectar while hot. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to the a blender (recommend Nutribullet) and blend until smooth. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
